Explosion Isolation Flap Valve – NOVEx

The Explosion Isolation Flap Valve remains normally open during normal flow. In case of explosion, the excess pressure is produced. This excess pressure closes the flap, isolating and protecting the rest of the equipment.

Use for organic and metal dust up to Kst 440 bar.m/s. (IIIA,IIIB and IIIC)

In the event of an explosion downstream (e.g. in the filter), gas expansion occurs, whose overpressure will force the flap to close, creating a barrier that isolates and protects the rest of the equipment of the installation upstream.
