New flap valve NOVEx II by Adix

The new NOVEx II flap valve by Adix Ingeniería for explosion isolation stops the propagation of explosions in pipelines and protects other plant equipment.

It has ATEX certification tests (LOM22atex1035x), according to EN16447: 2014 and EN 15089: 2009 standards, were produced by LOM Spain (certifying body),

with the following provisions:

• Valve with open flap.
• Vertical installation position (from 0º to 90º).
• Tests of automatic activation of the valve by the pressure of the explosion.
• Valve installed in double elbow ducts.
• Size tested up to DN 1250 mm.
• Flammable powder up to St3.
• Push and pull position.

The valve remains normally open and thanks to its optimised design reduces the pressure drop introduced into the system.

All certification tests were performed with a pipe installed downstream of the valve.
